IV4003 – Physician Preference Card - By DOS

Function:

Detailed preference card information on patients scheduled for a particular surgery date or date range.  Information includes case details such as duration and anesthesia type, as well as Preference Card instructions and comments and a full item pick list from the Physician Preference Card.  Prints a new page for each scheduled case.

 

Usage:

Select by surgery date(s), specified Procedure(s), specified Physician ID(s) or individual Patient ID(s).

Sorting and Grouping on this report are based on the item pick list from the preference card.

Sort by Item Description, Catalog Number or Item Location.

Group item results by Preference Card Group [link to Pref Card, Supply Items text], item Category or Item Location.

Click the check box to force long item descriptions to line wrap.

 

Hints and Tips:

Many centers use this as a Pick List to gather the day’s supplies.  For this purpose, group by Preference Card Group or Inventory Location to make picking easier.

 

Notable Fields:

The top of each page describes case specifics – patient name, ID, age, anesthesia type, room, start time and duration.

The next section is a printout of the entire preference card, with the full items list last.
