Inventory Transaction Posting

Use Inventory Transaction Posting form to post manually created inventory transactions or when on-screen posting is not allowed.

Transactions are posted by selecting a batch, or multiple batches.

Best Practice

Set a policy to post from here or Supplies Used:

• For centers that require “batch” processing, the policy should be set to post the inventory transactions from the Inventory Transaction Posting Screen.  
• For centers that have limited staffing resources and desire to post “real time” the policy can be set to post from the Inventory Purchase Order, Supply Used, and Inventory Transaction forms.
