Logging In / Logging Out
The Log In screen defaults all fields, except password, based on previous log ins. Log into the current Accounting Period, or one period ahead.
Change password
Click this button to the right of the password field to display the Change password option. If a temporary password was provided to the user, the change password fields will automatically display after clicking Log In. Be sure to follow the password requirements when changing a password.
Remember ID
If a machine is to be used by multiple users, leave this unchecked so that each person logging in must log in using their own ID; if the workstation is used by only one person, check "Remember ID" to retain the last Login ID.
Current Period
By default this box will always be checked, this will always ensure that a user is logged into the current year and period.
To enter in another date, uncheck the box and enter in the desired year and period.
Connection configuration
Click to open the Connection Configuration form.
Single Sign On? Check this box if single sign on is enabled for the enterprise and to use the windows login for accessing HST Practice Management.
Show Server Location? Location of the application server will only need to be shown when in a corporate environment running multiple servers.
Show Center List? Check this box to add the list of centers that are accessible on the Log In screen.
Start Up Screen: Select a screen to see upon logging in.
Show Warning on Cancel? Check this box for a confirmation message when clicking cancel on screens within the application.
Logging Out
To properly log out of the application, ensure all data is saved and click File > Exit.
