Administration > Configuration > Center Configuration

 

This tab in Center Configuration sets the hours of operation for the center.

In the Available section, check the days on which the center is open. Then enter the earliest opening (Begin Time) and latest closing (End Time) for the center’s ordinary operations.  The Appointment Sheet will rely on these entries to make room time available.

NOTE: The end time entered should be the latest scheduled cases will run. For example: If end time is 18:00, a 45 minute case cannot be scheduled at 17:30.

Checks

There are three choices available under each of the listed areas (Check Resource Conflict, Check DEA, Check Laser Credential, Check State License, and Check Preference Card (for the specific physician and procedure) to check center resources when scheduling:

1 - Do Not Check

2 - Warn: When selected, a pop-up will warn of the conflict, but cases may be scheduled in spite of this warning.

3 - Not Allowed: When selected, the case will not be able to be scheduled until the conflict is resolved.

 

Purge

Purge Blocks (months):  Enter the number of months after which outdated blocks need to be purged .

Purge Appointments (months):  Enter the number of months after which appointments will be purged from the Appointment Sheet.

 

NOTE:  Purge cannot be reversed.  Blocks and appointments that have been purged cannot be recovered; however, all billed and canceled cases will be available for reporting.  Purge simply removes these items from the Appointment Sheet.

 

Allow Pending Appointments

Appointments can be scheduled and flagged as Pending.  HST Practice Management will save the data without writing it to the Appointment Sheet. It gets saved to a pending queue instead.  If an appointment is marked as Pending, the scheduler can go to: Scheduling > Pending Appointments and see a list of Pending Appointments.  Confirming the appointment will move it from this queue to the Appointment Sheet.   

 

Always Retain Visit For Cancel Appointment

If selected, all visits will be saved for rescheduling upon cancellation. Users will not be prompted whether or not to save Visit when appointment is canceled. Centers will need to contact HST Support to update this setting.

 

Global Appointment Sheet Configuration

Sets all appointment sheet colors at the Center Level instead of the User Level.
