What is a Form
A form is the window that opens once a user has selected an area to work in. Most forms have multiple tabs, as seen on the Physician Profile form below.
Each tab accepts data entry in one of three formats:
Single record format
A tab using the single record format generally has many data entry fields. It is used when the information being entered needs only one record. The General Information and Licenses & Privileges tabs are examples of single record formats.
Multiple record format
A tab uses the multiple record format when the option to enter multiple records is needed. The Address and Credentials / Insurance tabs are examples of multiple record formats.
Grid format
A tab uses the grid format when multiple records need to be displayed at the same time. The Payer ID and Tickler tabs are examples of grid formats.
